Trailblazer Status(TS)

Trailblazer Status (TS) is a designation given by the UK government to housing providers who have demonstrated their commitment to improving the quality of their housing services and developing a culture of innovation. The purpose of TS is to recognise those providers who have achieved or are making significant progress towards becoming a model of excellence in the delivery of housing services and are striving to become more effective and efficient, with a focus on delivering value for money and quality services to their residents.

Through the TS process, providers are expected to demonstrate their commitment to improving their services, explore and develop new ideas and practices, and work collaboratively with other providers to share best practice and develop a culture of innovation. These providers must also demonstrate that they have a clear plan of action to monitor and improve their performance, as well as a commitment to engage with their customers and to develop a culture of accountability and transparency.
