Single Room Rent (SRR) is a type of housing tenure in the United Kingdom (UK) designed to provide affordable accommodation to individuals or households who cannot afford to pay for a full dwelling. SRR refers to a property made up of single rooms or bedsits which are let to individual or multiple tenants on an assured tenancy agreement. The purpose of SRR is to provide housing for those who cannot afford to rent a whole dwelling or for those whose lifestyle or financial circumstances require them to rent a single room, as opposed to an entire dwelling.
