Vulnerability Assessment Process(VAP)
Vulnerability Assessment Process (VAP) is a process used by UK housing providers to identify, assess, and respond to the needs of vulnerable people living in their housing. VAP assesses the individual circumstances of residents and evaluates the potential risks and vulnerabilities they face, allowing housing providers to provide tailored support and services to those most in need. The scope of VAP includes a range of areas including the physical, mental and emotional health of residents, financial concerns, housing and tenancy issues, and access to essential services. The purpose of VAP is to ensure that vulnerable people living in UK housing are able to access the most appropriate services and support in order to help them maintain their independence and wellbeing.
