Vulnerability Assessment Process(VAP)

Vulnerability Assessment Process (VAP) is a process used by UK housing providers to identify, assess, and respond to the needs of vulnerable people living in their housing. VAP assesses the individual circumstances of residents and evaluates the potential risks and vulnerabilities they face, allowing housing providers to provide tailored support and services to those most in need. The scope of VAP includes a range of areas including the physical, mental and emotional health of residents, financial concerns, housing and tenancy issues, and access to essential services.
