Personal-Safety Initiatives(PSI)

Personal-Safety Initiatives (PSI) are a range of strategies, activities and projects aimed at improving the safety of residents living in the UK housing sector. PSI focuses on preventing, identifying and responding to risks related to safety, security and well-being of tenants and other stakeholders. PSI can include initiatives such as security systems, tenant education, crime prevention programs and tenant monitoring, as well as measures to reduce the risk of physical and sexual violence, hate crime, and neglect. PSI is designed to ensure that the UK housing sector provides safe and secure living environments for its tenants, and that all tenants feel safe and protected. PSI also seeks to reduce the risk of anti-social behaviour and other criminal activities in the housing sector.
