Association of Civil Enforcement Agencies(ACEA)

The Association of Civil Enforcement Agencies (ACEA) is a UK-based professional body that represents companies providing civil enforcement services for the residential property sector. Its membership consists of civil enforcement companies that are contracted by local authorities to provide services such as the collection of unpaid rent, the removal of vehicles from private land and the enforcement of residential property management regulations. The purpose of the ACEA is to promote and maintain high professional standards among its members and it sets out to do this by providing advice and support, lobbying on behalf of members and developing best practice guidance. The ACEA also works with local authorities, housing associations and other stakeholders to ensure that the civil enforcement industry is regulated and operates in accordance with the law. The scope of the ACEA covers all aspects of civil enforcement in the residential property sector, including tenancy management, debt recovery and eviction services.
